We got a roller!

Ailyn rolled from her back to her belly on Saturday. It didn't take her long to figure out she can roll to a toy or do multiple rolls to get off her blanket!
There she is in action! She was just rolling left but after her session with her OT (she works with gross motor too) she was rolling to the right too! The gates are going up tonight :)
Ailyn's eyes are getting much worse. Now both eyes cross and can never stay strait. She goes to the eye doctor on Wednesday. We are thinking she will need the surgery in the near future. We patch her eye for one hour a day. She can now take off the patch by herself and try to eat it. Her perception is really off. When she reaches for a toy, she waves her hands at it first before being able to grab it.
The poor thing has always rubbed her eye. She will get her fingers IN her eye! We have to pull her hand away. She will have scratches near her eye. Her therapist brought up a good point....she may rub it because her vision is off or she is seeing double. So hopefully we can get her help soon.
My first sign of spring was taken away from me. Right after I took this picture, some animal ate my daffodils !! Where there were sprouts are nice big holes. I am not happy!

Ailyn has been eating better since her surgery. She still takes awhile to eat but she is faster. She also has been drinking about a good 4 ounces more a day. So I would say we are on the right track with getting her to eat more and better!
