Our day with Roy

My biological father happened to be overnight in a nearby town where we are on vacation. He had a full day off, so we spent the day with him. We had lunch at really cute cafe and then headed over to a park. The weather was a perfect 78 degrees. Ailyn took a great nap in her stroller while we explored the park. At the end of the day, we got a tour of the bus. Which Camden will tell you was "very awesome". He plans on us buying one to travel to different states very soon. He is also very serious about becoming a rock star now since he can live on a bus.  The day was very relaxing..... a nice change to our crazy busy days here. Thank you Roy!

Dear Daddy

Dear Daddy-
  We had fun today. I wish you were here. I went on a big kid ride for the first time. Mommy went with me. I liked it but I didn't like the person who made it go backwards. Ailyn loved all the rides. I think her favorite was the tea cups. The water park was very fun. Nana bought me a spike ball and Logan got a shark. Mommy got a water proof iphone thing to carry her phone around her neck so she won't lose it again. I love you and I miss you.

Hot summer night

My favorite thing to do on a hot summer night is eat outside.

So we went to Camden's absolute favorite restaurant.

I can't expect a nice picture with these two. They automatically do it.... they don't even have to look to see if the other is doing it.

and Camden loved his pizza!

We got some lounging time in after dinner and play. I think Ailyn would have fallen asleep there if we stayed much longer.

3 for ONE

My Mom and sister came down to help us out while Ailyn had surgery. Before her surgery we had a trip to Sesame Place planned.

We went on my birthday. I can't think of a better way to spend my birthday! I had my very old friends there to celebrate with. - my Iphone getting stolen, it was a perfect day!

                                                        
  Everyone had so much fun! All the kids did very well in the heat. Sesame Place has a lot of water rides/slides/pools so it was easy to cool off when we got too hot. My friend had giving me great advice. To buy tickets to "Elmo and Friends" lunch. It was well worth it. The food was great. The characters were awesome. They walked around to every table, giving you good time with each. Each character put on their own show. The best part was that it was air conditioned, which was very nice to take that break.

 My favorite was watching Evan enjoy everything. He is really into Sesame Street. His favorite being Big Bird. He knocked on Big Bird's door hoping he would come out. He watched "Elmo's World" show in awe. Ailyn doesn't watch TV. Not by my choice.....believe me, it would be nice if she could focus on a TV show and give me a 1/2 break. But, she knows Elmo and also watched in awe of everything.

Before we left, we all bought our shirts at Target and Walmart. Target has super cute Sesame Place T's for $7!

 The kids were pooped at the end of the day. Sesame was running a special. Buy one day, get the second free. PERFECT! We already had our hotel booked. So we decided to use the second day pass. I am so glad we did. The second day was much more relaxed. We knew the park and didn't have to rush to the parades and rides.

 We happen to have family in the Sesame area. So we got a 3 for one deal and got to have dinner with our cousins. And, they all got to meet sweet Philomena.
