Snowy week

Prince Camden sitting in his "snow chair" while Mommy made an igloo. FYI- do not attempt to build an igloo with the sun shining right down on it. It will melt and fall over.

Oh, the sadness! Gavin looks like he has no clue how to handle this situation. Ever since Ailyn saw a picture of her belly with her feeding tube, she wants me to take the scar "off". She asks me 1000 times a day.

Look closely...that is Aaron down the window well lifting our 75 pound dog out. Cash was running around all crazy in the snow. I heard a huge crash. Thank God he was ok! There was no way we could get him to a vet.

Winter over yet?

A boys best friend.

We lost power for 15 hours. The quiet around the house was actually so nice! No TV or electronics. I even worked the fireplace on my own. That's a huge thing for me.

Every.single.God.dang.time. I take a picture, Cash has to be in it. How cute are these two??

6 more weeks of winter

                                   5/52

The title has nothing to do with this entry. I am just over this freezing cold, snowy weather! The dang groundhog saw his shadow. We are supposed to wake up to another storm and another snow day.

Maybe I'm being negative because I was sick all night and day. Moms are not aloud to get sick. My house is trashed, Ailyn had to come visit me in bed 30 times and Camden felt the need to let me know everything bad Ailyn was doing on Daddy's watch. This headache can also go away!

Last week was good though. Nothing to crazy! Here are my weekly pics!

At the last minute we decided to take the kids out for dinner. We had a gift certificate for the Sakura steakhouse. They make the food in front of you and do lots of fun tricks. Camden loved trying to catch the shrimp.

We also took Ailyn to her first movie. Again, last minute thing. We had 3 hours until our reservation, and the movies are right there. We had no clue how Ailyn would do. But, 5 minutes into it she was sound asleep (with Daddy) and woke as the credits were rolling. Guess Frozens songs put her to sleep!

This friendship is honestly the cutest thing to witness. Gavin and Ailyn had their twin friends birthday party on Friday night. Gavin made sure Ailyn was right behind him on the slides and helped her if she needed help. Right after this shot, Ailyn turned to kiss A on the cheek. Gavin is her best friend and it makes me very happy.

Cash loves fatty peanut butter. He helps his self in the pantry whenever it's on the lower shelf. I came home to this. He also helped him self to a half a loaf of bread and some rolls. Note to self: make sure pantry is shut at all times.

It's freezing out there!

4/52

I was making dinner and Camden was writing a "To-do" list on his white board. Number 3 said "stay awesome". I thought it was so cute so I ran for my camera..... came back  to "stay dumb". Always being a goof

Ailyn wrote her name for the very first time. I would write the letter and she copied. All on her own. So proud of her. This is huge for her. The type of CP she has is called "Ataxia". It causes A to have shaky hands at times. Her gross motor is also delayed. So this was AWESOME!

Don't play ball around Cash. He will steal your ball. He now has a collection of deflated and half chewed balls.

Stay warm! I'm ready for spring.

Our weekly photos

3/52

Camden has Lego corner in his room. He will watch his Minecraft videos while making his creations.

Oh, this sweet angel....... She caught a bad cold this week. When A doesn't feel well you better wear protective gear around her. The weather is not helping going from 60 to 30 in one day. Good thing she has this beautiful smile. It saves her life.

I was just on the phone with my sister telling her how good Cash is when we go out. I came home to this the same day.

Another year older

A pic a week, every week of my children for 52 weeks

2/52

Camden celebrated his 9th birthday this week. I would love to know what his wish was!

Ailyn got this magnetic fishing set from Santa. All on her own, she picked up the number 13 and said "thirteen"!

Our Cashy has stolen everyone's food this week and continues to gain weight

A challenge for me

                                 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Two years ago I challenged myself to take picture everyday for 365 days. I totally rocked that challenge! The blog is called 365 and it has a link above if you want to check it out!

2013 was a crazy year. Even though I take 15 pictures on Instagram every day, I never pick up my DSLR camera. Taking photographs has always been a huge outlet for me. I love taking my annual photo shoots for friends. I used to love to take my camera everywhere. I loved following my kids around setting up photo shoots with them. But, in the past two years I have let my crazy life take over what I love to do. I look at all the photographs around my house (and, I have a lot!) and miss taking photos.

So for the year of 2014, I am challenging myself once again! I follow a blog bleubirdvintage.typepad.com  The blogger takes a portrait of her children once a week, every week for a year. I can do that!

This Christmas break Camden did a lot of this.... watched movies, played games, took pics, wrote on his blog and had bed head everyday. He deserved it.

Ailyn didn't do this the whole vacation. She doesn't sit still for long. But, I downloaded her favorite show (Paw Patrol) on her Ipad. She enjoyed watching the Christmas episode over and over.

Cash loves the snow. We call this spot "his perch"  (and, yes, Cash is my child and will be included in the weekly pics)

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and make the most out of 2014! (2014!!)
