March Of Dimes walk 2013

This was our third year walking for the March Of Dimes. I would like say say a HUGE HUGE thank you to all of you for helping us raise $1,170!!  Our Strawberry's Patch team came in number 9 in the county! We appreciate all your love and support each year! Thank You!

For the past 2 years my sister and her kids fly down to walk with us. Thank you Auntie!! We love you!

We have never had good luck with weather on our walk days. At least the sun was out this year! But, it was cold for the little ones. And, they let us know every second of the walk that they were freezing.

It was Cash's first time in a big crowd. He decided that he didn't like the strollers and barked the entire time. And, he took a dump in the street. Aaron carried that smelly dump for a long time.  Picture a puppy bark along with 5 crying kids. Next year I am bringing headphones.

Our friend Laura joined our team. Laura is a preemie herself! She was born at 35 weeks. I hope she decides to come back next year. I did tell her she can run ahead of us. Thank you Laura for all your help with the kids.

Carter is always a trooper. Poor thing didn't feel well but did not complain once. My children need to take lessons from him.

Big thanks to Amy and her family!! They have walked with us from year one. She made our strawberry pins. And, whoever donated will be getting one too!

I had this vision that Ailyn was going to walk some of the walk. The road is strait and she loves to walk along with us now. But, the cold was too much for her. Even with Laura's gloves, she couldn't shake the cold. Good try A!

We saw our NICU buddy! Tyler was born at 28 weeks a day before Ailyn. I wish it was warmer so they could have enjoyed each other. Both were unhappy with the cold.

We got to see our other NICU buddy, Callie. Callie was born at 24 weeks.

I will never forget this year. Aaron, Becky and I stayed up until 1am making the T-shirts. We had ordered T-shirts from a  local store and they failed to tell us they closed on weekends. I think we did a pretty awesome job!

Thank you Heather, Carter, Lucas, Amy, Kacy, Kenzie, Becky, Evan, Philomena and Laura!

The reason we walk. Camden 35 weeker and Ailyn a 28 weeker.

Some of the pictures were taken by our friend Christine. She was a photographer at the walk. She has many more pictures from the walk on her website Christine Sullivan Thanks C!! OX
