We were sitting on the couch bored out of our minds. Ailyn had woke up with a fever so we knew we couldn't go anywhere too crazy. We decided to go to one of our favorite spots nearby and take Camden fishing for the first time.
Daddy and Camden rented a boat and explored while Ailyn and I stayed on dry land. The boat was only allowed 3 people. :( Keeping Ailyn entertained is not an easy task. Since she can't walk, I have to carry her everywhere. She will not crawl around on the ground.....do you blame her?? So we collected pine cones. Which only lasted 2.5 minutes before she decided that was not fun.
So she sat on the bench and complained in her "Ailyn language". Poor baby didn't feel well. The Tylenol kept her fever down thank goodness.
Then it was time to fish! We found a perfect secluded spot. It was so peaceful. Other than it being very humid out, it was perfect. Daddy taught Camden to cast and he caught on right away. No fish were caught but it was good practice for our upcoming fishing trip.
Don't let this picture fool you, Ailyn didn't sit still for long. This game lasted 2.7 seconds before we had to move on to something else.
Camden has always enjoyed feeding the geese. It's so fun to watch him get all excited when one feeds out of his hands.
Today was a good day. A day that started out very boring turned into a nice relaxing day. Nugget is still feverish. Hopefully tomorrow she is feeling better.
