She was laying in between me and Aaron last night on her back. I saw her move her head back and forth over and over. Her eyes were not catching up, so they looked like they were going side to side. I picked her up, sat her on my lap, called her name to try to get her to respond. She looked at me but wasn't there.... this was a few minutes. Then I put her back on her back to see if she would do it again. She did. When she was "back" she wouldn't hold a set of keys, just held it for a second and wasn't interested. It was something we don't let her normally touch, so we knew this was not right. She did snap out of it and we played with her and got her giggling. Then I layed her back down and gave her bottle to her and she fell asleep. She slept from 12am to 8am. (not abnormal, she has been doing that for a week now)
Now she has done this before, it didn't last long.Maybe 2 other times, and not close together. She is a sensory seeker. She loves to get flipped upside down to get that head rush. She loves to swing high and spin very fast in her johnny jump up. Her therapist wants us to make sure we let her fulfill this at least a few times a day. So I thought she may be doing it to get that feeling of being dizzy. I am trying not to feel guilty I might have missed something serious.
I really appreciate the overwhelming support and concern. My pediatrician was the one who said it was a seizure. Before than, I didn't think it was something that serious. But, knew I had to call him and not ignore it. I always thought seizures were more noticeable and obvious. I am in touch with the seizure clinic and waiting for a call back to today to her seen ASAP.
Please please pray hard for our Strawberry. Thank you again for all the prayers. We feel all your prayers have got her to where she is today!!
